Following careful deliberation, organizers have made the difficult decision not to hold The Naperville Salute this summer. Unfortunately, we fell short of our fundraising goal and as a result cannot provide the same level of programming our Hometown Heroes and local community deserve.
While this decision was not made lightly, the team remains deeply proud of what The Salute has represented—honoring our Veterans, supporting local organizations, and bringing the Naperville community together in celebration.
The Salute Charitable Organization will continue to provide logistical support for the Naperville Responds for Veterans Ruck March event this summer. Please be on the lookout for additional details.
We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from our volunteers, sponsors, partners, and attendees. The spirit of The Salute lives on, and we look forward to sharing what’s next.

A HOMETOWN CELEBRATION
The Naperville Salute is our Family-Friendly Independence Day Hometown Celebration, centered around our appreciation for Veterans, Active Military, First Responders and their Families. The Salute blends community, local entertainment, and family fun. The footprint will encompass Rotary Hill, along the Riverwalk in downtown Naperville.

THE SALUTE BENEFITS NAPERVILLE RESPONDS FOR VETERANS
Naperville Responds For Veterans (NRFV) assists Veterans and their families in need, especially those with low and moderate income, by raising donations of money, building materials, and professional labor, and coordinating the process of repairing, building, and donating homes. Naperville Responds For Veterans is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that provides services to Veterans in need and those in crisis.
The Naperville Salute is being held in partnership with the Naperville Park District, City of Naperville, and City of Naperville Special Events & Cultural Amenities (SECA) Grant Program.
